Fodé Sidibé Set for Move to Iberia 1999

Young striker Fodé Sidibé is reportedly close to beginning a new chapter in Georgian football. According to AfricaFoot, the French forward of Malian origin is expected to sign for FC Iberia 1999 after becoming a free agent.

Sidibé most recently spent time with Bari’s Under-19 setup and is now preparing for a move abroad. The reported agreement would see him join Iberia 1999 before immediately moving on loan to FC Sioni for three months.

The proposed structure could give the 20-year-old valuable first-team experience while allowing Iberia 1999 to retain his registration and continue monitoring his development.

AfricaFoot describes the transfer as an exclusive development, with the player reportedly set to complete the move after leaving Bari.

For Sidibé, the transfer represents an opportunity to continue his development in a different footballing environment. The Georgian league could provide the young attacker with regular competitive football and a platform to demonstrate his potential.
