France national team: Maghnes Akliouche sends a message to Zinedine Zidane
Having officially chosen to represent France a few months ago, Maghnes Akliouche is now aiming for continuity with the new national team coach, Zinedine Zidane.
Present in the mixed zone open to the press this Thursday after Paris Saint-Germain's training session at the Campus, Maghnes Akliouche didn't just discuss his role with Luis Enrique. The French international was also asked about the French national team and Zidane's arrival as head coach.
"I hope this is the moment to prove myself for my place in the French national team. I'm working towards that and giving my all every day for this goal, but there are other steps to take first. Zidane as coach is a good thing for France; I think everyone is happy with this choice," he said.

Maghnes Akliouche also spoke about the atmosphere in the PSG dressing room: "No, frankly, it's a collective effort. We know that all the attacking players have great technical qualities. The midfield also plays very, very well. There's quality in one-on-one situations. And in midfield as well, there's an exceptional level of technical skill."
