France team: Davide Ancelotti shares his view on Zinédine Zidane

The new LOSC head coach, Davide Ancelotti, opened up in an interview with L’Équipe.

Carlo Ancelotti’s son touched on several topics, including the case of Zinédine Zidane, who is set to succeed Didier Deschamps at the helm of the France national team. The Italian tactician offered his perspective on the French legend’s imminent arrival on Les Bleus’ bench.

"I've known Zizou since I was 8, because he was one of my father’s players at Juve," Davide Ancelotti first revealed. "You could already see that the players had immense respect for him. He’s someone very humble, who doesn’t talk much, but every time he does, everyone listens. He has a huge aura, real charisma. After Deschamps, he’s the best successor the French national team could have dreamed of." the young coach added.
