France team: second victory for Zinédine Zidane
In a clash on matchday two of the Nations League, Zinédine Zidane's France team snatched victory in Belgium (1-0) thanks to Olise.
For this match, Zizou made nine changes. After a strong start from Belgium, Les Bleus quickly regained control, with an excellent Da Cunha in front of the defense. France therefore deserved to open the scoring, but Désiré Doué's display.
There was also a triple chance in which Akliouche and Lepaul were denied by goalkeeper Lammens, while Kalulu's shot was cleared off the line by Lavia. The Red Devils had a close call, as when the referee strangely decided not to award a penalty even though Ngoy had clearly pushed Barcola in the back.
But France found the solution late in the game. Les Bleus snatched victory thanks to substitute Olise (0-1, 88th minute) after a solo run. That delighted Zinédine Zidane, who secured his second win in two matches in charge of Les Bleus.
