Friendlies: Gabon's official squad list to face Niger and Guinea-Bissau
Gabon national team coach Thierry Mouyouma has officially announced the list of 29 players selected for the training camp that will take place in Morocco at the beginning of June 2025. This gathering, scheduled in Casablanca, is to prepare the national team for two friendly matches against Niger and Guinea-Bissau, set for June 6 and 9 respectively.
This roster features 29 players called up as the Panthers prepare for the 7th and 8th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, as well as the final phase of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Furthermore, several absences stand out, notably that of Al Qadsiah star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Saudi Arabia, as well as Denis Bouanga, a player for Los Angeles FC, and Aaron Appindangoye, a defender for Kocaelispor in Turkey.
