Friendly (W): Ghana vs Senegal, double-header announced for April
The Black Queens beat the Lionesses of Teranga 3-0 in Accra in April 2023

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a double-header friendly between the women's national team of Ghana and their counterparts from Senegal in April 2025. These matches aim to prepare the Black Stars for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.

In preparation for the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations scheduled in Morocco from July 5 to 26, the Ghanaian women's team will embark on a nine-day training tour in Senegal in April. During this tour, the Black Queens will face off in a double-header friendly against the Lionesses of Senegal. These encounters will provide both teams the opportunity to assess their level and identify areas for improvement before the continental tournament.

Thus, the Black Queens and the Lionesses of Teranga will clash on April 5 and 8, 2025, respectively. The times and venues for these friendly matches are yet to be announced. The two teams previously met in April 2023 in a friendly in Accra, where the Black Queens dominated the Lionesses with a 3-0 victory.
