Gabon: still no coach!

The Gabonese Football Federation has yet to announce the name of the new head coach for the Panthers. The appointment was originally scheduled for February 28, but a week later, the silence remains deafening.

Gabon is set to face Uzbekistan and Trinidad & Tobago during this month's international window in March. With these crucial fixtures looming, the Panthers are still without a coach. The FEGAFOOT deadline of February 28 has come and gone, and since then, there has been no official statement on the matter.

Back on February 12, FEGAFOOT had already announced a delay, citing the "vast amount of work" involved in reviewing 605 applications to succeed Thierry Mouyouma.
This situation could further complicate the process of selecting and preparing the next head coach.
