Yrondu Musavu-King has died at the age of 34, according to an official announcement from the Gabonese Football Federation. His body was found in Libreville, the country's capital, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.

The central defender, who made his name in France, began his professional career with SM Caen before experiencing several spells across Europe. He notably wore the colors of Granada CF, FC Lorient, Udinese Calcio, and Toulouse FC. As a Gabon international, he earned 15 caps with the Panthers and took part in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

After his European career, he concluded his professional journey in India before retiring in 2022. His passing has sent shockwaves through the Gabonese football community, which mourns the loss of a player who graced several European leagues.
