Galatasaray considering Eduardo Camavinga for January

Galatasaray has already begun preparing for the January transfer window. According to the Turkish press, the Istanbul-based club is interested in Eduardo Camavinga and could approach Real Madrid during the next transfer window.

Camavinga in their sights

According to Sabah, Galatasaray has reportedly identified the French midfielder as one of its targets for January. The Turkish club would like to assess the conditions of a potential move and would be prepared to pursue the matter over the coming months. At 23, Camavinga has been playing for Real Madrid since 2021, following his move from Rennes for around €31 million.

Since moving to Spain, the France international has made 229 appearances for Real Madrid. He has recorded 6 goals and 11 assists in all his appearances, according to figures reported by the source. His current market value is estimated at €50 million.

A complicated transfer on the horizon

Galatasaray will nevertheless have to contend with the player's contractual and sporting situation in Madrid. At this stage, the Spanish club has no obvious reason to facilitate a departure during the season. The Istanbul-based club will therefore have to quickly sound out Real Madrid before finding out whether this deal can genuinely move forward in January.

For now, Galatasaray's interest in Eduardo Camavinga has only been reported by the Turkish press. The situation could largely depend on Real Madrid's position and that of the player as the winter transfer window approaches.
