Galatasaray makes decision on Mario Lemina

The future of Mario Lemina is now settled. Out of contract with Galatasaray, the Gabon international has ultimately extended his adventure with the Istanbul club.

According to Turkish media, Galatasaray's management has signed a new two-year deal with the 32-year-old midfielder, following a request from coach Okan Buruk, who has been impressed by his performances. Returning to the club during the 2024-2025 winter transfer window from Wolverhampton, Lemina quickly established himself in the midfield.

Last season, he played 41 matches and helped Galatasaray clinch another league title. The player is also said to have received a significant salary increase, with his annual wage rising from €2.5 million to €3.5 million. The Gabonese midfielder is expected to continue playing a key role in the Turkish champions' squad.
