Galatasaray pushes for Ilaix Moriba

Galatasaray remains active in the transfer market and has set its sights on Ilaix Moriba, the Guinean midfielder from Celta Vigo. The Turkish club is looking to bolster its midfield with a young player who already has solid European experience.

According to Spanish media, Galatasaray has tabled an initial offer of around 15 million euros, but it was deemed insufficient by the Galician side. Despite financial difficulties, Celta Vigo is open to negotiations, giving the Istanbul club some room to maneuver as it prepares a new proposal.

At 23 years old, Moriba has played 48 matches this season, including 11 in the Europa League, notching up 2 goals and 4 assists. Galatasaray is not giving up on this target and is looking to step up negotiations in the coming days to try to seal the deal.
