Galatasaray reject €130 million offer for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray have turned down a Saudi bid of €130 million for Victor Osimhen and continue to consider their striker as absolutely untouchable.

Victor Osimhen remains at the heart of transfer speculation. According to Florian Plettenberg and Sky Sports, Galatasaray received a verbal offer of €130 million on Tuesday for their Nigerian centre-forward. The approach reportedly came from an intermediary acting on behalf of Al-Hilal.

Galatasaray immediately shut the door

Despite the staggering sum on the table, Galatasaray have no intention of entering negotiations. The Istanbul club’s management refused to open any discussions and are standing firm: Osimhen remains a cornerstone of their sporting project.

Yet, this offer would allow the Turkish champions to secure a massive profit. Galatasaray permanently signed Osimhen from Napoli for €75 million in the summer of 2025, after an initial loan season in Istanbul. The deal also included a 10% sell-on clause in favor of the Italian club.

A contract running until 2029

Osimhen is tied to Galatasaray until June 2029. As of summer 2026, he still has three years left on his contract, giving the Turkish club full control over any negotiations. His current market value is estimated at €75 million—€55 million less than Al-Hilal’s reported bid.

On the pitch, the 2023 African Ballon d’Or winner proved his worth once again last season, netting 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. Despite the €130 million offer, Galatasaray are refusing to sacrifice their main attacking asset.
