Gédéon Nongo continues his rise. The 19-year-old defensive midfielder leaves AS Otôho to join the Polish club Górnik Zabrze, which officially announced his arrival this Wednesday.

A Congolese international already capped six times despite his youth, Gédéon Nongo has signed a three-year contract, running until June 2029, with an option for an additional year. He becomes the club’s seventh summer signing, as the Polish side aims to build a competitive squad ahead of their Champions League qualifying campaign.

For the young midfielder, this transfer marks his first experience in Europe after completing all of his training and making his professional debut in Congo. His integration into the first team remains to be seen, with some sources suggesting he may initially feature for the reserve squad.
