Haaland responds to rumors linking him to Real Madrid

Repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid, Erling Haaland has decided to put an end to the speculation. The Manchester City striker has dismissed claims made by Enrique Riquelme, who alleged that a clause in his contract could ease his transfer to Madrid.

Accompanied by his agent Rafaela Pimenta, the Norwegian made it clear that these assertions do not reflect reality. The duo swiftly put a stop to the rumors that had been spreading quickly throughout the European media:

There is no chance of this happening and there is no contractual clause to enable it. We are considering legal action for the use of our player's image in this context.

Just days before the presidential election at the Madrid club, this statement has dampened the hopes of those dreaming of seeing Haaland in a white shirt. For now, the 25-year-old striker remains fully committed to the Citizens.
