Haaland to Real Madrid? His camp sets the record straight
The father of Norwegian star Erling Haaland, Alf-Inge Haaland, along with his agent Rafaela Pimenta, have denied rumors of an alleged verbal agreement between the Manchester City striker and Real Madrid.
The Haaland camp denies any agreement with Real Madrid
In exclusive statements relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the playerâs representatives firmly refuted these reports:
âEverything being said about this is very entertaining, but it is not true. We wish good luck to both candidates in the Real Madrid presidential election.â
This denial comes as several media outlets have raised the possibility of the Norwegian goal machine moving to the Madrid club in the future, despite his contract with Manchester City running until June 2034.
Meanwhile, Romano claims that Man City have no intention of letting their star striker leave this summer. The English club has received no indication from the player that he wants to leave the Etihad Stadium.
According to the transfer market expert, Haaland remains a key part of the Citizensâ sporting project and no talks regarding a transfer are currently on the table.
As a reminder, Enrique Riquelme, one of the candidates for the Real Madrid presidency, recently said on the TV show âEl Hormigueroâ that Haaland and Rodri were among the signings he would like to make if he wins the election.
