Hammarby recalls Suwaibou Kebbeh

Suwaibou Kebbeh is back at Hammarby. The Swedish club has decided to end his loan at GIF Sundsvall in order to reintegrate the young Gambian forward into the professional squad.

Loaned out to gain more playing time, Kebbeh took full advantage of his stint at Sundsvall to showcase his abilities. In 13 appearances, he netted 3 goals and provided an assist, underlining his attacking potential. At Hammarby, his return is seen as an opportunity to boost competition in the offensive department. The coaching staff now plans to gradually introduce him into the first team setup.

Sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg praised the 19-year-old's progress, noting that the loan spell was a valuable step in his development and that he now presents an exciting option for the club's future. With a long-term contract at Hammarby, Kebbeh fits perfectly into the club's sporting project focused on nurturing and developing young talents.
