Henry Uzoigwe has a new club in Poland

Henry Uzoigwe is officially stepping up to a new level. The 22-year-old Nigerian midfielder has joined Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki, signing a three-year contract that runs until June 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year.

Arriving in Poland in 2024, Uzoigwe previously played for Unia Tarnów. Last season, he was loaned out to Mławianka Mława, where he made 13 appearances in the third division, scoring once and catching the eye with his performances. The Polish club describes its new signing as a fast, combative player with great determination—qualities that convinced the management to give him a shot at a higher level.

Upon signing, the Nigerian midfielder expressed his delight at this new chapter in his career:

I am very happy to join Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki. I immediately felt that this club has an ambitious project. I come here highly motivated and eager to develop while helping the team achieve its goals.

With this move, Henry Uzoigwe now hopes to fulfill his potential and establish himself as a key figure in the Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki midfield for the 2026-2027 season.
