How Osimhen reacted to Jose Mourinho's words!
Victor Osimhen

The news of the shocking draw between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray has not subsided until this moment, a lot of controversy has occurred due to Jose Mourinho's comments after the match and his big protest against the refereeing mechanism of the match and how the unrest and altercations on the pitch were handled in this derby.

Despite the fact that the Derby was prepared by 30,000 police, the atmosphere was not without bickering among the fans, as for Osimhen's position on this issue, the Nigerian resorted to sharing his club's statement in response to Mourinho's comments after the match.

“I must also thank the Turkish referee… after the big dive in the first minutes and that bench jumping like a monkey. [Usually] for Turkish referees, you’d have a yellow card after one minute, and after five minutes, I would have to change him [my player]. So thankfully, it was perfect- Mourinho's post-match comment.

Mourinho's comment was described as a highly racist comment and was attacked by the way he used this way of speaking and Galatasaray only had to respond in a stern manner, the club said:

Fenerbahçe Technical Director Jose Mourinho, who has been regularly making derogatory remarks against the Turkish people since he started working in Turkey, has today added inhumane statements to his immoral statements. We would like to inform you that we will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor’s office and also file a complaint with UEFA and FIFA due to these racist statements by Jose Mourinho. In addition to all these initiatives, we will be monitoring the attitude of our ‘moral symbol’ rival’s technical directors regarding this statement.

To date, Turkish authorities have not responded to any demands and have not given any official statements about the derby incident.
