Ibrahim Maza, an impossible target for Galatasaray?

Galatasaray has put Ibrahim Maza on their transfer shortlist to bolster their attacking options. The 20-year-old, who joined Bayer Leverkusen from Hertha Berlin, quickly impressed with his technical skills and his ability to operate between the lines.

Okan Buruk would like to make him a key part of his project. The Turkish club is keen to attract young talents with high potential—players who can make an immediate impact and generate future value. However, Bayer Leverkusen holds all the cards in this matter. Maza is tied to the German club until 2030, and there is no known release clause in his contract.

Atlético Madrid have reportedly already had a €35 million offer turned down. Under these circumstances, Galatasaray would need to table an even higher bid to have any hope of opening negotiations. At this stage, a move for Maza appears highly unlikely.
