IFK Göteborg ready to let Imam Jagne go

Imam Jagne appears to be edging closer to an exit from IFK Göteborg. The Swedish club is reportedly willing to part ways with the 22-year-old midfielder, who has struggled to make an impact this season.

After joining from Mjällby AIF in January 2025, Jagne enjoyed a decent first season, making 24 league appearances and scoring once. However, things have taken a turn this campaign. The Gambian international has featured in only six matches and has yet to start a game this season.

With limited playing time this season, the 22-year-old midfielder is reportedly attracting interest from Volos and Kifisia, two Greek clubs.

According to Expressen, two Greek clubs—Volos and Kifisia—have already shown interest, with negotiations reportedly underway. IFK Göteborg's sporting director, Jesper Jansson, has acknowledged that the transfer window could bring several changes to the squad. Although Imam Jagne is under contract with the Swedish club until 2028, he could be on the move this summer in search of more regular playing time.
