Saudi Arabia continues its ambitious strategy to attract European football talents. This time, Al-Hilal, the reigning champion, has set its sights on Nicolò Barella, the star midfielder of Inter Milan.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Saudi club has made an astronomical offer of 140 million euros over four years, which means 35 million euros per season. A sum that rivals the biggest salaries in world football.
