Ismaëlo Ganiou is establishing himself as one of the most sought-after young defenders right now. At just 21, the RC Lens player is catching the eye of several European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, and Crystal Palace.

After a standout Ligue 1 campaign with 23 appearances, 22 of them as a starter, the French defender also netted three goals, underlining his influence in the Lens squad. Thanks to his performances, Lens finished second in the league and secured a spot in the Champions League, further boosting the profile of its players on the transfer market.

The French club is reluctant to let him go and is reportedly demanding around €35 million to open the door for a transfer. Ganiou’s future could be decided during the summer transfer window, where fierce competition among interested clubs is expected.
