Issaka Seidu joins IFK Göteborg on loan

IFK Göteborg has officially announced the loan signing of Issaka Seidu for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old Ghanaian defender belongs to FC Nordsjælland and had been playing for Ljungskile in the Superettan until now.

After a string of impressive performances since the start of his loan, Seidu quickly caught the eye of several top-tier Swedish clubs. His stint at Ljungskile is therefore being cut short to allow him to join IFK Göteborg, where he will continue his upward trajectory.

In 12 league matches, the left-back has scored one goal and provided an assist, showcasing both his attacking potential and defensive solidity. These performances convinced Göteborg to make a move for him and strengthen their left flank. With this loan, IFK Göteborg is banking on a promising young talent capable of bringing energy and impact to the squad.
