Ivory Coast: Christ Inao Oulai crowned Player of the Year
Christ Inao Oulai has been named Ivorian Player of the Year at the fifth edition of the Ivorian Football Gala dinner. The former Jacque Angré and SC Bastia player follows in the footsteps of the Elephants’ greatest stars.
After a standout season in Turkey with Trabzonspor, the midfielder featured in 28 matches, scoring twice and providing 4 assists.
But Christ Inao’s real brilliance shone through with the national team. He dazzled at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and took part in the 2026 World Cup, cementing his status as a true midfield leader.
After receiving the Yaya Touré Award, he was widely praised for his playmaking ability and his knack for making the difference for his team. At just twenty years old, the former Bastia player is proving to be one of the brightest faces of the Elephants’ new generation.
