Jacobo Ramón does not want to return to Real Madrid

Jacobo Ramón wants to continue his adventure at Como. Having left Real Madrid in the summer of 2025 to join Serie A, the young Spanish defender is said to have adapted perfectly to his new surroundings. According to AS, he is not considering returning to the Spanish capital for the time being.

Ramón has established himself at Como

Developed at Real Madrid, Jacobo Ramón chose to continue his development in Italy in the summer of 2025. The decision appears to be paying off, as the centre-back has become a regular starter in the team managed by Cesc Fàbregas.

Standing 1.96 metres tall, the Spain U21 international has established himself at the heart of Como’s defence. He particularly enjoys his current surroundings, where he is even experiencing the Champions League with the Italian club this season. Under contract until 2030, Ramón therefore enjoys a stable situation, which would not encourage him to consider a move in the short term.

Real Madrid retain a buy-back option

Despite the player’s desire to remain in Italy, Real Madrid retain the option of bringing him back. According to information reported by AS, the Spanish club have a buy-back option set at €8 million. This clause would allow Los Blancos to regain control over the future of their former player, but activating it does not appear to be Ramón’s wish at this stage.

Real Madrid are not the only club monitoring the young Spaniard’s development. According to reports, Arsenal and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on his situation. For now, Jacobo Ramón therefore appears to be prioritising Como. With a contract running until 2030 and an important role in Cesc Fàbregas’s system, the defender does not seem to be in a hurry to change clubs.
