Jean-Luc Dompé sidelined by his club

Hamburger SV has made a decisive move regarding Jean-Luc Dompé. The German club announced on Thursday the suspension of the Franco-Ivorian player from all training sessions and matches until further notice.

The reason for this disciplinary action: a serious breach of conduct. Last Sunday, the 30-year-old French winger was stopped by the police during a routine traffic check. He tested positive for alcohol consumption. Upon being informed of the decision by the club's sporting management, Dompé was reminded of his responsibilities as a professional footballer, as well as his role as a role model and representative of the club.
