St Mirren continues its stability with the contract extension of Jonah Ayunga. The 27-year-old Kenyan striker has signed a new deal until 2026.

Jonah Ayunga, long sidelined due to a severe knee injury, has shown resilience. His comeback coincided with solid performances, notably his goal in the 3-2 victory over Ross County, securing a top-six finish for the third consecutive year.

Stephen Robinson, his coach, praised his determination:

Jonah is coming back strong. He had to wait, but he was invaluable in the final stretch.

The player expressed his satisfaction with this new contract:

I feel good here. It's my home now. The group is united, the club is progressing. I want to help take us even higher.

With 11 goals in 71 appearances, Ayunga has not yet said it all. His presence next season could be one of the pillars of an ambitious St Mirren, ready to step into the big leagues of Scottish football.
