Jordan accuses Gianni Infantino's FIFA

For a week now, FIFA has been seriously mired in several controversies. And it just doesn't stop.

The situation has only worsened with the recent explosive comments from the president of the Jordanian Federation, Prince Ali bin Hussein. He directly accused the global governing body and Gianni Infantino of blackmail. Ali bin Hussein denounced visas being denied to Jordanian supporters, excessive taxes in the United States, and the non-payment of Arab Cup bonuses, according to information from Sky Sports.

Prince Ali revealed that FIFA refused to assist him with these issues unless he pledged support for Gianni Infantino's re-election. Flatly refusing what he described as extortion, Jordan has therefore withdrawn its backing for the FIFA president.

The Jordanian federation has thus followed the lead of other nations such as England, Wales, and Sweden. These are serious accusations that will certainly not help Gianni Infantino in his re-election ambitions.
