A mainstay for Angers this season, having played 26 Ligue 1 matches, Jordan Lefort is set to make his international debut at 32 years old.

Former Young Boys of Bern and Paris FC defender, Jordan Lefort, has chosen to represent Mauritania, a country for which he is eligible through his wife. He has, in fact, been called up by head coach Aritz Lopez for the Mourabitounesโ€™ two friendly matches this month.

Mauritania will face Liberia, Lionel Messi's Argentina at La Bombonera (for the Albiceleste, this fixture replaces the canceled Finalissima), and Palestine.
