Joseph Melto Quiah goes pro in Toronto

Toronto FC II bolsters its roster with the arrival of Joseph Melto Quiah. The 20-year-old Liberian winger has signed a contract in MLS NEXT Pro and will play with the Canadian club's reserve team.

Joseph Melto Quiah arrives from the University of Dayton, where he established himself as one of the key players on his team. With 14 goals and 16 assists in 47 matches, his college career highlights his potential. His progression was rewarded with several accolades, including a first-team All-Atlantic 10 nomination in 2024.

Before his stint in the United States, the young forward had already made a name for himself in Liberia with Paynesville FC and LISCR FC. A precocious international player, he earned his first cap with the Lone Stars at just 16 years old, facing Egypt. Toronto is counting on him to energize their attack.
