Juventus is no longer hiding its interest in Emiliano Martínez. Turin coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed that the Argentine world champion is indeed on the club's shortlist for this summer's transfer window.

Questioned about the matter, the Italian tactician admitted that Juventus is closely monitoring the Aston Villa shot-stopper. "Martínez is a fantastic goalkeeper and a player who is looking to change clubs this summer. We are interested in him," Spalletti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to Italian media, Juventus is now looking to reach an agreement with Aston Villa to bring down the cost of the operation. Since joining the Villans in 2020, Emiliano Martínez has established himself as one of the Premier League's top goalkeepers. At 33, he has racked up over 200 appearances for the English club.
