Juventus run into Atlético Madrid roadblock in pursuit of Sørloth
On the hunt for a new striker after Dusan Vlahovic's departure, Juventus have set their sights on Alexander Sørloth. But the Old Lady's opening bid failed to convince Atlético Madrid.
According to multiple reports from Italy, the Turin-based club tabled a €22 million offer for the Norwegian international. However, Madrid's management deemed the proposal insufficient, reportedly demanding close to €40 million to part ways with their forward. Despite this disagreement between the clubs, Juventus are said to have already reached an agreement with the player's camp, with a contract running until 2029 apparently on the table.
After a convincing season in Atlético Madrid colors, where he netted 20 goals in all competitions, Sørloth remains a top target for the Bianconeri. Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days as both sides look to close the gap.
