Kevin Schade attracting Manchester United's interest

Manchester United have reportedly joined the list of clubs interested in Kevin Schade. According to The Daily Briefing, the Manchester-based club are monitoring the Brentford winger, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool. Chelsea and Tottenham are reportedly also keeping an eye on his situation.

A convincing start to the season

Kevin Schade, 24, has scored three goals in his first five appearances in the Premier League this season. His performances also earned him a place in Germany’s latest Nations League squad. He notably started against the Netherlands on September 24.

Last season, the winger finished with eight goals and three assists in 35 league appearances. Those statistics have helped attract the attention of several English clubs.

Brentford want to extend his contract

Brentford, for their part, would like to keep their player in the long term. According to Sky Sports, the club have begun preliminary talks over an extension. However, the negotiations are reportedly not progressing as hoped, according to the reports. Kevin Schade is currently under contract until the summer of 2028.

The player’s contractual situation could therefore influence the upcoming discussions, although no departure has been confirmed at this stage. With Manchester United now reported to be among the interested clubs, Brentford could face increased competition if the suitors decide to take action. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are also reportedly keeping an eye on the situation.
