LaLiga: total chaos erupts during Levante vs Valencia derby

Sunday night saw total chaos erupt during the LaLiga derby between Valencia and Levante.

Yesterday, the end of the LaLiga derby between Levante and Valencia (0-2) spiraled out of control after the final whistle. This came despite a crucial victory for the visitors in their battle to avoid relegation. While Levante slipped further down the table, tensions escalated dramatically in the dying moments of the match.

At the heart of the controversy was defender Eray Cömert, who sparked a mass brawl and bottle-throwing from the stands after a provocative celebration—hanging a Valencia shirt on the corner flag. Several figures, including Levante players and staff, condemned the act as disrespectful, though according to Sport, the Swiss defender later admitted his mistake and issued an apology.
