Lausanne extends Sékou Koné's loan from Manchester United

Lausanne-Sport has secured the extension of Sékou Koné's loan until the end of the season. The Malian midfielder remains contracted to Manchester United but will continue to wear the colors of the Vaud-based club.

A bet on potential

Arriving last February during the winter transfer window, Koné featured in just five league matches before suffering an injury that ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign. Despite limited playing time, his abilities have convinced the LS management.

The young Malian international, just 20 years old, now has the opportunity to finally kickstart his season and showcase the full extent of his talent in the campaign ahead.
