Lazio Rome continues its search for a successor to Alessio Romagnoli. Among the profiles being considered is Raúl Asencio, the young central defender from Real Madrid.

According to the Italian press, the Roman club is impressed by the Spanish player's qualities. However, the operation is expected to be particularly complicated. Asencio is under contract with Real Madrid until 2031, and his market value is considered too high for Lazio's finances.

Sergi Dominguez, who plays for Dinamo Zagreb, Diego Coppola, currently under contract with Brighton, and Arnau Martinez, defender for Girona, are also on the shortlist of the Italian management.
