Allan Saint-Maximin's adventure in northern France comes to an end. RC Lens has officially confirmed the departure of their winger, who joined during the winter transfer window to reignite his career.

After a brief spell in Mexico with Club América, the Frenchman chose to return to Europe, signing a short-term deal with Les Sang et Or. During his stint, he made 13 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

The former Newcastle player was also part of the club's victorious Coupe de France campaign. RC Lens, having finished second in Ligue 1 and set to compete in the upcoming UEFA Champions League, now turns the page as Saint-Maximin becomes a free agent, ready to choose his next destination.
