Libya: Trova Boni joins Al Ahli Benghazi

At 26 years old, Burkinabé international Trova Boni is set to continue his football journey in Libya. Al Ahli Benghazi officially announced his signing via their social media platforms on June 14.

After a season and a half with Al Akhdar, which he joined in February 2025, Trova Boni has decided to switch directions, putting pen to paper with Al Ahli Benghazi. The 26-year-old defender joins one of the most storied clubs in Libya, who are hungry for both domestic and continental glory.

A product of the Salitas Academy in Burkina Faso, the centre-back has previously played in Belgium, Portugal, and the United States before landing in Libya.
