Stade Tunisien has just announced a change at the helm. The Bardolais club has decided to appoint Said Saibi in place of Ammar Souayeh.

Ammar Souayeh was relieved of his duties following the victory over Olympique de Béja (3-1). During that match, Stade Tunisien fielded five foreign players, contrary to current league regulations, a move that could prove costly with the official complaint lodged by the Storks.

Souayeh defended himself by stating that he was not responsible for administrative matters and that it was not his fault, but that was not enough for him to keep his position as head coach.

The club, currently third in the Tunisian Ligue Pro 1 (41 points), just four points behind the league leaders and with a game in hand, has decided to bring in Saibi, the former CA coach.

Saibi will take charge of the team for the first time in the capital derby this Saturday (1 p.m.) against Espérance Sportive de Tunis.
