Linafoot playoffs: Aigle du Congo are provisional champions

The match at Kibassa Maliba Stadium has ended. Aigle du Congo defeat Don Bosco 2-1 and temporarily take the top spot in the Linafoot Ligue 1 standings for the 2025-2026 season.

Toni Talassi opened the scoring for the Kinshasa side in the 49th minute. Don Bosco responded quickly, with Mbala Mulindo leveling the score to bring the Salesians back into the match. But Jérémie Kalenda sealed the win for the Congolese Eagles in the closing moments.

With this victory, Aigle du Congo climb to the top of the table with 29 points as they await the final round. The title now depends on what TP Mazembe deliver against Celeste FC in Kamalondo. If Mazembe win, they will leapfrog the Eagles; if not, the trophy will stay with the current champions.
