Linafoot qualifiers: Céleste and Simba draw 1-1

In matchday 11 of the Linafoot League qualifiers, Simba and Céleste played out a 1-1 draw on Wednesday, June 10, at Stade Tata Raphaël. The result was of little benefit to either side in the standings.

The Kolwezi Lions struck first in the 48th minute through Kinda Kalambo. But their lead was short-lived, as Chris Mulo equalized for Céleste in the 68th minute, snatching a crucial point for the Mbandaka Eagles.

On the league table, both teams remain stuck at the bottom. Simba sit seventh with 7 points, while Céleste are rooted to the foot of the standings in eighth place with just three points.
