Lionel Messi reveals the young talents who will make football history

Recently, Lionel Messi revealed the ten young talents he believes are capable of shaping the future of football.

As part of the third edition of the “Messi +10” campaign, launched by Adidas, the Argentine legend shared his selections. Lionel Messi named the ten young talents he believes are capable of making football history in the years to come. The Argentine’s selection includes 7 male players and 3 female players.

No Africans in Messi’s selection

Among the talents selected are Argentine Tomás Aranda, who plays for Boca Juniors, Turkey’s Can Uzun of Eintracht Frankfurt, Mexico’s Gilberto Mora of Tijuana and young Englishman Max Dowman, who is making strides with Arsenal. Messi also named American Zavier Gozo, a Crystal Palace player, Spaniard Jesús Rodríguez of Como and Dutchman Kees Smit of AZ Alkmaar. Among the women, he chose Englishwoman Chloe Sarwie, who plays for Chelsea, Brazilian Giovanna Waksman of OL Lyonnes and German Lotta Wrede (Hamburg).

It is worth noting that this selection is part of the longstanding partnership between Messi and Adidas, which highlights tomorrow’s talents every year.
