Michael Olise could once again be at the centre of the transfer market. According to Indykaila News, Liverpool have started talks with Bayern Munich regarding the France international, who is reportedly particularly interested in joining the Reds next season. However, the German club have not yet made any decision.

Olise continues to impress at Bayern

Having joined Bayern Munich in summer 2024 from Crystal Palace for around 600 million Swedish kronor, Michael Olise quickly established himself as one of the Bavarian club’s key attacking players. Under contract until June 2029, the Frenchman enjoyed a highly productive first season, scoring 22 goals and providing 31 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.

His start to the season has confirmed that momentum. The 24-year-old already has five goals and two assists in six matches. With France, he also has seven goals in 25 appearances.

Bayern still hold the cards over his future

Bayern had already closed the door on an Olise departure this summer, despite interest from several major European clubs, notably Real Madrid. Sporting director Max Eberl also reiterated that the player does not have a release clause in his contract.
