Liverpool: Hossam Hassan's message of support for Mohamed Salah

Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has sent a message to Mohamed Salah, offering his full support during this turbulent time at Liverpool.

At Liverpool, Mohamed Salah's future has become even more uncertain following the player's explosive media appearance. After being benched for three matches by Arne Slot, the Pharaoh voiced his deep discomfort. Following the 3-3 draw at Leeds this Saturday, Salah did not mince his words: "I couldn't believe I was on the bench for 90 minutes. This is the third time. I think it's the first time in my career."

He added: "I've done so much for this club, everyone can see that, over the years, and especially last season. Finding myself on the bench, I just don't understand why. The club made me a lot of promises this summer. Now that I'm on the bench, I can say they haven't kept their promises." Salah also spoke of a complete breakdown with his coach: "There is no relationship between us anymore. It was a very good relationship and now, suddenly, there's nothing left."

In the midst of this storm, Egyptian manager Hossam Hassan made a point of publicly showing his support for his star player. On Instagram, the coach posted a photo of himself with Salah, accompanied by the message: "Always a symbol of determination and strength."
