Liverpool shuts the door on Bayern over its young star

Bayern Munich continues to scout the brightest talents in European football. This time, the Bavarian club has set its sights on a Liverpool prodigy, regarded as one of the most promising players of his generation.

Bayern Munich is already preparing for the future. According to information from The Athletic, the German champions have targeted Rio Ngumoha, one of Liverpool’s biggest prospects, to bolster their left flank for the coming seasons.

At just 17 years old, the England youth international has reportedly become a top priority for Vincent Kompany. Still according to The Athletic, the Belgian manager is particularly fond of his profile, while Sky Germany has even mentioned a possible agreement between the player and the Bavarian club.

The deal, however, looks complicated. Under contract until 2028, Ngumoha is seen as one of Liverpool’s crown jewels. The Reds are not considering letting him go and remain committed to his development, despite Bayern Munich’s growing interest.
