Amid the ongoing crisis at Liverpool, particularly surrounding Mohamed Salah, Steven Gerrard has chosen to throw his support behind the Egyptian winger. It's a strong statement as Liverpool works to put out the fire.

"He's obviously very upset about not playing, and I respect that. He wants to help the team, and I respect that, too. But some of the things said about throwing people under the bus are just not true. He needs to sort that out with the manager. Liverpool needs Mo Salah back at his best, making his mark, because he's their top player, their best scorer, and he'll help them get through this." the Reds legend told TNT Sports.
