Lorenzo Insigne considers a return to Europe

Lorenzo Insigne, 34, could be set to leave North America after terminating his contract with Toronto FC this summer.

The Italian forward is hoping for a comeback to Serie A, but, according to Sky Germany, the Bundesliga also remains on the table. Insigne has been particularly linked with Lazio, where his former coach Maurizio Sarri is at the helm. His agent, Andrea D’Amico, has confirmed the Italian club’s interest, while also noting that other options are being considered.

The player is ready to accept a significant pay cut to find the right club in Europe.
