Luis Enrique wants to bring Martín Zubimendi to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain could be interested in Martín Zubimendi. According to ElNacional.cat, Luis Enrique has reportedly identified the Spanish midfielder as one of his priorities to strengthen his squad. However, no negotiations or official offer have been announced at this stage.

Limited playing time at Arsenal

Having joined Arsenal in the summer of 2025 after several seasons at Real Sociedad, Zubimendi is under contract with the London club until June 2030. During his first season in England, he scored six goals and provided three assists in 57 appearances across all competitions.

His situation will nevertheless be worth monitoring this season. Aged 27, the Spain international has provided one assist in eight appearances, without starting a Premier League match. Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been linked with him in recent months.

Arsenal are not planning to sell him in January

Despite the rumours surrounding his future, Arsenal reportedly do not intend to part with their midfielder during the next winter transfer window. Football Insider reported this. PSG may therefore have to wait before considering a potential move.

A former Spain manager, Luis Enrique knows Zubimendi’s profile and reportedly appreciates his qualities in midfield. It remains to be seen whether this interest will lead to a concrete approach from PSG. For now, the Spanish midfielder remains tied to Arsenal until 2030.
