Madrid: when does Yan Diomande start training?

Yan Diomande’s arrival at Real Madrid is imminent. Fabrizio Romano and the Spanish press report that an agreement has been reached between Real and Leipzig for a fee of around €120 million, with a five-year contract in place.

Things could move even faster. According to COPE, the 19-year-old Ivorian winger could join his first training sessions with the Madrid squad as early as this week if negotiations are wrapped up swiftly.

José Mourinho, who has been seeking a faster wide player, reportedly made Diomande a top priority to boost the attack alongside Mbappé and Vinicius Jr.

PSG, which had previously reached an agreement with the player, officially withdrew from the race on July 26. The path is now wide open for Diomande to join Los Blancos.
