Mamelodi Sundowns exploring deal to sign Olisa Ndah
Exclusive
Foot Africa has established that Mamelodi Sundowns are exploring a deal to sign highly-rated defender Olisa Ndah on a free transfer ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old centre-half is currently unattached after parting ways with Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC at the end of last season, ending a brief spell at the club.
He had joined the Cape Winelands outfit on a free transfer in the January window after requesting the mutual termination of his contract with Orlando Pirates.
Ndah was limited to seven appearances at Stellies as he only made his debut in March, owing to his lack of fitness which saw him miss the first six games upon his arrival.
Now, sources have informed this publication that the Nigeria international is on the radar of Sundowns, who are looking to bolster their defence to counter the fixture congestion.
The reigning African champions are understood to be engaged in talks with Ndah's entourage over a possible move to Chloorkop, with both parties keen on a transfer.
While no agreement has been reached at this stage, the discussions are said to be progressing in the right direction as the deal is described as feasible for Sundowns.
The Tshwane giants will be eager to swiftly close any potential deal amid growing interest in the player's services as he presents a perfect market opportunity for suitors.
With over 140 appearances in his club career and five caps for the Super Eagles, Ndah would undoubtedly add experience and stability at the heart of defence.
